Good to know
Moisten the sand until it holds a shape — crabs can only dig burrows that don't collapse.

Hermits love!
I bought before and loved it for my hermits .. they love it too! Super soft .. Everytime I need more sand I come back to this brand!

Nice clean sand for my Hermit.Ive got one in a large aquarium, and get new sand every couple years. This is nice stuff.
CMBeachgirl · January 2026Good stuff
My crab loves this stuff, I mix it with moistened coconut fiber. Better for them than the sand with calcium in it, that harms them I'm told. My crab is 7 years old. Most don't make it 6 months
Miss · November 2025Our go-to sand for our hermie
I just bought some more to set up a new residence for JAWS, our hermit crab ! My wife has had this very stuff in our tank for years now, ever since we lost a couple crabs & changed over to this. We've had great results ever since, so we're sticking with it.
monty · December 2023On time, good quality, soft sand
I’m pleased with this sand for my hermit crabs, showed up on time, was handled well. The sand is soft and perfect for holding in the right amount of heat for your enclosure! Might have to order one more to give nice deep comfort for our crabs bc they all Love to burrow into the sand beds when they molt but otherwise very satisfied with the purchase :))
