Beautiful clean aquarium sand
Beautiful aquarium sand. The color is perfect and there's literally no dust. I did a quick rinse prior to adding to my tank but there wasn't any dust coming off, so that was great. My tank water was perfectly clear after adding water. I used the natural delta sand to cap my aquarium plant substrate. I love it.
Cadygirlz · February 2026THE standard for natural substrate
If you enjoy Caribsea Peace River substrate, this is virtually the same thing. Small gravel/large sand sized so it doesn't float or blow around the tank. Great, natural look, compliments any scape setup. Cory Catfish can dig in it with ease and its good for anchoring stem plants without them floating out. Tried the Galaxy black sand and was not happy with it. This is the stuff to get and the price is right.
John · February 2026Great sand!
Great substrate. Not too small so it's easy to clean without vacuuming it all up. Fish seems to like it since they lay on so it must be OK for them too
LFK · July 2026Plants grow great in it; but make sure you rinse it well before use
Good substrate; plants seem to grow like crazy in it. It does need to be rinsed very well before use however. I have gotten a few bags of this, and they have both been pretty dusty. Not a huge issue just make sure you rinse it first.
C. · July 2026I'll buy this again
very very nice. clean, colorful, uniform size. I'm using in cactus potting mix and to top soils of plant pots. This mixed color caught looks of others. The price, at 11.00 a bag, was less than horticultural sands.
