For a path, edge it with stones first, then pour the sand — it keeps the line from drifting into the soil.

Natural looking, slightly dusty, but great overall

This is a very nice natural looking substrate for aquariums. I used 10 pounds in a 10 gallon and it was just about the right amount. I did lots of rinsing, 5 pounds at a time in a clean bucket. It started off dustier than I anticipated but it cleared up nicely and looks great in my betta tank. I love the variety of colors in the sand. I put a few larger rocks on it and I love the look. I’d definitely get this again.

Perfect

Fantastic. What a great natural substrate. When cleaning, the sand doesn't get stuck n the vacuum. Just a beautiful color as well. Changed from gravel to this and will never go back. My advice is to use a bucket and clear out the dust. It took me 14 times but was worth it.

First planted tank with sand...

Color as advertised! Seems like a good quality sand, not a super fine grit but is easy to place and move around in a tank. The 10lbs is easy to move around, because of the weight it was easy to pour and get into a bucket and only took two rinses to run fairly clear. I really like how the color pops around the plants in the tank I set up, and I like how natural it looks with some stones and the aqua soil I mixed in.

Natural and earthy

This isn’t the first time buying these sand packs for my aquarium hobby. It has an earthy look to it and my critters all do well with it. I’ve also added soil medium to mix with it for my live plants in my tank. No complaints here.

All good

Overall, the size is very good, the color is good, you just have to wash them 4-5 times, they are dirty. I have washed them a few times. But overall, the price and the product are good. I recommend it to you.
